You can send a gift to someone in Uganda from Nigeria without anything crossing a border. Tell MistaGift the occasion on WhatsApp +256 759 633 013 or choose from the catalogue, and our Kampala team prepares the hamper, flowers, cake or surprise and delivers it in person, the same day in Kampala when timing allows.
It might be a sister's birthday you are marking from Lagos, or a client in Kampala you need to thank from Abuja. Either way, the gift is assembled in our shop at Kyato Complex, next to Equatorial Mall, and handed over by our own team with your card inside.
What you can send from Nigeria
The range is wider than flowers. From Nigeria you can send:
- Gift hampers and baskets, from fruit and treat baskets to fuller hampers with wine, chocolates and keepsakes. See gift baskets.
- Flowers, from a neat bouquet to an extra large rose arrangement. Browse flowers.
- Cakes and chocolates, on their own or paired with flowers. A birthday cake can be added to most orders.
- Surprise deliveries for birthdays and anniversaries, with balloons, a timed arrival and a photo of the moment. Read how surprise gift delivery works.
- Jewellery, perfume and watch sets for a partner or parent, from the jewellery and anniversary collections.
- New baby, get well and sympathy gifts when the news is personal. See the newborn collection.
- Corporate gifts for a Ugandan client, partner or team, including executive sets. Start with corporate gifts in Uganda.
At the upper end of the catalogue, the Royal Treat (V02) brings an extra large bouquet together with a red velvet cake, wine and chocolates, and the Blissful Anniversary Bundle (AN2) pairs a jewellery set with cake and flowers. For a man, HIS (V29) combines a watch, a mini chess board and whiskey.
Occasions people send for
Birthdays, wedding anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas are the obvious ones. There are quieter ones too: an apology, a parent recovering from illness, a new baby, a graduation, a wedding or family celebration you cannot travel for, and a thank-you to the people who looked after your family. If you are planning something bigger, such as a proposal, tell us the plan and we will say honestly what we can arrange.
Time difference and delivery timing
Nigeria is two hours behind Uganda. When it is 9 AM in Lagos, it is 11 AM in Kampala. Our WhatsApp is monitored from 8 AM to 8 PM East Africa Time, seven days a week, which is 6 AM to 6 PM in Nigeria.
Same-day delivery in Kampala works when you order at least two hours before the time you want. For a cake, balloons or a timed surprise, message us before 11 AM Kampala time (9 AM in Lagos). For Entebbe, Mukono, Jinja and towns further out, tell us the town and we confirm the delivery day before you pay.
Paying from Nigeria
We share payment details on WhatsApp once your gift and delivery are agreed. The site lists Visa, Mastercard, Wise and PayPal for international customers. Orders are confirmed only after payment is received, and then we start preparing.
What happens on delivery day
Your card is written in your words. The gift is presented by our team, and you receive a WhatsApp photo once it is in their hands. If you would like to see the finished gift before it leaves the shop, ask and we send a photo first. If the recipient is not available, we reschedule at no additional cost.
Sending from elsewhere
You can also send gifts to Uganda from Kenya, Rwanda, DR Congo, South Sudan, Tanzania, the UK, the USA, Canada, Europe, or the UAE.
