Country by country
Germany. From Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt or Hamburg, Kampala is two hours ahead in winter and one hour ahead in summer. A message sent over breakfast reaches us mid-morning.
Netherlands. From Amsterdam, Rotterdam or The Hague, the same Central European timing applies: two hours behind Kampala in winter, one in summer. Same-day Kampala delivery is realistic if you message in the morning.
Sweden. From Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö, the gap is the same as Germany. Our WhatsApp closes at 6 PM Stockholm time in winter and 7 PM in summer, so a late-evening order is picked up first thing the next Kampala morning.
Denmark. From Copenhagen or Aarhus, Kampala is two hours ahead in winter and one in summer. If the card should carry a line in Danish for children who grew up there, write it out and we reproduce it exactly.
Belgium. From Brussels or Antwerp, message in the morning for same-day delivery in Kampala. Cards can be written in French, Dutch, English or Luganda.
France. From Paris, Lyon or Marseille, the timing matches Belgium. If you prefer to write the card in French, we copy it as written.

The time-zone rule of thumb
Our WhatsApp is monitored from 8 AM to 8 PM East Africa Time, seven days a week. For most of continental Europe that is 6 AM to 6 PM in winter and 7 AM to 7 PM in summer. For Ireland it is 5 AM to 5 PM in winter and 6 AM to 6 PM in summer.
Same-day delivery in Kampala needs your order at least two hours before the delivery time you want. Cakes, balloons and timed surprises need the message before 11 AM Kampala time. Outside Kampala, tell us the town and we confirm the delivery day before you pay.
Paying from Europe
Payment details are shared on WhatsApp once the gift is agreed. The site lists Wise (including euro transfers), PayPal, Visa and Mastercard. Orders are confirmed only after payment is received.
