When you order a gift from abroad, you cannot walk into the shop. So before you pay any gift delivery service in Uganda, ask six questions: who prepares the gift, which photos you get and when, what happens if the recipient is out, which areas they deliver to, how your payment is confirmed, and who answers when you message. 1. Who prepares the gift?
Ask whether the service makes the gift itself or passes the order to someone else.
Our answer: every gift is assembled by our team at our shop in Kyato Complex, next to Equatorial Mall, and delivered by our riders.
2. Which photos do I get, and when?
A delivery photo is the only proof you will have.
Our answer: a WhatsApp photo at delivery is standard. If you want to see the finished gift before it leaves the shop, ask and we send that photo too.
3. What happens if the recipient is not home?
Surprises fail when nobody plans for an empty house.
Our answer: if the recipient is unavailable, we reschedule at no additional cost.
4. Which areas do you deliver to?
Our answer: Kampala and surrounding areas, Greater Kampala (including Wakiso, Entebbe and Mukono) and upcountry towns including Jinja, Mbale, Mbarara, Gulu, Fort Portal, Masaka, Lira and Soroti. Same day in Kampala: order at least two hours before the delivery time you want. Outside Kampala, tell us the town and we confirm the delivery day before you pay.
5. How is my payment confirmed?
Our answer: pay by Visa, Mastercard, Wise, PayPal or Mobile Money. Orders are confirmed only after payment is received.
6. Who answers when I message?
Our answer: our WhatsApp is monitored from 8 AM to 8 PM East Africa Time, seven days a week.
