A Juba corporate gifting programme may have several handover dates even when it begins with one brief. Staff appreciation, client visits and an executive meeting can fall in different weeks. Ask whether separate releases can be arranged and what each release would require before assuming the order can be held and dispatched in stages.
Start with the dates and recipient groups. Distinguish the date gifts must reach the receiving office from the date they will be presented. A client visit can move while a staff event remains fixed; the release plan needs to show which part is affected.
What makes a phased release workable?
Give every proposed release a quantity, package version, receiving location and named coordinator. Reconcile those quantities to the overall order. Record which gifts are still being prepared, which are ready and which have already been released, rather than using one status for the entire programme.
Ask where finished gifts would be held between releases and who would be responsible for them. Storage, separate transport movements and later handling may have practical or cost implications. These arrangements must be agreed; one quoted delivery should not be interpreted as unlimited separate handovers.
Consider the contents before choosing the schedule. Products with storage instructions or dates need a plan suited to the actual item. A dated message may also become unsuitable if a presentation moves. Review those details for the later groups before approving production for every package at once.
Name the person authorised to request a release. An informal request from another department can otherwise send gifts before the receiving office is ready. Keep any change to a date or quantity connected to the current written plan.
If one release is meant for colleagues in Uganda rather than Juba, treat it as its own order; our South Sudan page explains how that works.
Bring the proposed release dates to MistaGift at the start of the Juba enquiry. The team can discuss whether the sourcing, preparation and receiving arrangement can support that approach. Agree each release explicitly so the programme’s convenience does not depend on an unconfirmed storage or delivery service.
Ordinary Juba requests require at least three days’ advance notice. Customised, branded and larger orders need a separately confirmed lead time. Minimum notice is not a delivery guarantee; sourcing, transport and handover must be agreed for the specific order.
